Klein ISD Receives Meritorious Budget Award 

The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) has yet again awarded Klein ISD with a Meritorious Budget Award for excellence in the preparation and issuance of the 2021-2022 school district annual budget.

This award marks 17 consecutive years that Klein ISD has been recognized for its exceptional budgeting practices, a true reflection of the unwavering commitment of our outstanding financial services team to the district’s fiscal integrity.

Klein ISD Director of Budget, Tracie Edinburgh, and her staff do an outstanding job each year in the preparation of the Budget. Klein ISD Chief Financial Officer Dan Schaefer is proud of Ms. Edinburgh, her team and the dedication they put towards managing the district’s finances.

Tracie and the financial services team continue the tradition of excellence in budgeting preparation and financial transparency, and we are excited to receive the recognition from the Association of School Business Officials,” Klein ISD Chief Financial Officer Dan Schaefer said.
