Klein Leadership Coalition Learns About the 2022 Klein ISD Bond
Over 200 community leaders, parents, family members, teachers, principals, business owners, faith-based leaders, Board members, and district leadership joined together for our March meeting of the Klein Leadership Coalition (KLC).
The KLC’s mission is to LEARN how Klein ISD is working to fulfill its promise to our students, SHARE key information about district happenings with your neighbors so that we’re all well-informed, and COMMUNICATE how having a strong public school district keeps Klein a great place to call home.
This month, the KLC learned the facts about the May 7 Bond Referendum and recognized the community-led Bond Steering Committee, who developed a comprehensive bond recommendation to reflect the wishes of the Klein ISD community and its taxpayers to our Board of Trustees. KLC members received an in-depth look at the four propositions on the May 7 ballot and how the Bond package will impact all schools and all students in our district. Get an inside look of the recommended Bond Package and overview video at www.kleinisdbond.com.
KLC members collaborated as they discussed facts about the Bond and how they would share their learning with others.
In Klein ISD, we have a culture of voting, and Bond Steering Committee Member Lauren Dougherty shared tips on how to raise informed voters and information on voting day for the May 7 Bond Referendum. Early Voting begins on April 25, 2022, and runs through May 3. If you are not yet registered to vote, you have until April 7, 2022. Visit www.harrisvotes.com for more information.
