
Full-Day PreK Enrollment Event on April 26

Calling all eligible PreK students! We are so excited to welcome our youngest learners to Klein ISD!
WHO CAN ATTEND PRE-KINDERGARTEN
In accordance with state law, to be eligible for Klein ISD’s full-day Pre-Kindergarten Program a child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2022, AND meet 1 of the following criteria:
- Limited English Language Proficiency
- Educationally Disadvantaged
- Homeless
- Military Dependent
- Is or has been in Foster Care
- Star of Texas Award Recipient Dependent
WHERE WILL MY CHILD ATTEND SCHOOL?
Pre-K students will attend the school within their attendance zone.
* Pre-K students zoned for Greenwood Forest, Kaiser, Klenk, McDougle, and Nitsch will attend the Grace England Pre-K Center and Pre-K students zoned for Eiland or Epps Island, will attend Eiland Elementary School.

Each elementary school is hosting a Pre-Kindergarten Enrollment event where families can register, meet the school principal, and get a sneak peek into PreK in Klein ISD. Come join us at your zoned elementary campus to get ready for PreK. The universal date for PreK registration is Tuesday, April 26, and times are indicated on the chart for each elementary campus.

FAMILIES MUST PROVIDE
- The student’s proof of identity (birth certificate preferred)
- A complete immunization health record from a licensed physician at the time of registration
- Proof of residence in Klein ISD, which can include a lease agreement, electric, water, or gas bill with the name and address of the parent/guardian. Telephone bills cannot be accepted.
