Teacher Feature: ZaDarius Webber, Doerre Intermediate

Home is where the heart is, and ZaDarius Webber’s heart is in Klein ISD.

This former Klein Forest Golden Eagle returned to the school district he holds dear to give back to the community that helped shape him. Mr. Webber is Doerre’s newest eighth-grade Social Studies teacher, football, and track and field coach.

Starting his teaching career in 2019 as a founding member of a teaching fellowship, Mr. Webber has gone on to teach in various classrooms. He has taught English Language Arts, Literature, and Science. He was also a teaching assistant in an elementary school.

“One of my favorite things about teaching is being able to help my students navigate through life,” Mr. Webber said.

As an educator, Mr. Webber has high hopes for his students and who they can grow to be. He is dedicated to helping them find their purpose, as he did as a student in Klein ISD.

“Klein ISD let me know I could achieve anything and that I would be supported,” Mr. Webber said. “I plan to support my students inside and outside the classroom because you impact their lives tremendously when you invest in them.”

Mr. Webber’s love for teaching comes naturally partly because of an important woman in her life. His grandmother, a longtime educator, inspired students as a history teacher for 40 years.

“I saw my grandmother’s positive impact on the entire town of Madisonville while she was teaching, and I knew I wanted to have the same impact on the next generation,” Mr. Webber said.

Since announcing his return to Klein ISD, he has been showered with well wishes and praise from his former teachers and mentors.

“I am elated to be back home in the district that changed my life,” Mr. Webber said. “Everything Klein promised me is why I get to live out my purpose!”

Mr. Webber was a standout student at Klein Forest, involved in everything from football to the Superintendent’s Advisory Council. He holds the same level of dedication today as he did back then.

“As a Klein Forest student, I had the opportunity to help create our school’s core values,” Mr. Webber said. “I am blessed that Klein ISD is allowing me to instill them into the up-and-coming generations.”

Mr. Webber, we are so grateful to have educators like you, who are committed to ensuring every student finds their purpose!
