Klein ISD Celebrates and Honors Grandparents

This Sunday, September 11, is National Grandparents Day, and we want to celebrate and honor the amazing grandparents in our Klein Family!

To celebrate Grandparents Day, we visited our friends at Villages at Gleannloch, a retirement community right here in Klein, Texas! The residents shared advice for the younger generation and some reminisced about their own children and grandchildren attending Klein schools.

Jenna, a student at Klein Cain High School, and Ryker, a student at Ulrich Intermediate, sat down with their grandmothers to get advice and thank them for their love and support.

Grandparents Day with Villages at Gleannloch

Grandparents Day is a time to thank our beloved family members for the unconditional love they give our kids in Klein!

In addition, some of the most valuable life lessons come from our older generations sharing with us their own rich histories and stories about strength, resilience, and community. We challenge our Klein Family to hold meaningful conversations about the past, present, and future with the amazing grandparents in our Klein Family, right in your own home or across the street with your neighbor.

Thank you to all of the grandparents in our Klein ISD community who provide such good advice and continue to support and love our kids in Klein!
