Kids in Klein- Week of 11/14

With Thanksgiving break just around the corner, our Kids in Klein were trotting to get in all the learning they could before a week of food, fun, and family.

Hassler Elementary third-graders in Ms. Hattrup’s class enjoyed an afternoon of learning and leisure by testing their grammar skills and checking sentences for errors. Once complete, these Ponies enjoyed reading a book of their own choice. Eiland Elementary Kindergarten Dolphins in Ms. Pour’s class kicked off a morning of learning by celebrating gratitude month and writing about who and what they are grateful for.

Schultz Elementary first-grade Eagles kept the festive spirit alive by working on turkey-themed addition worksheets and preparing decorations for the school’s Thanksgiving play. Kleb Intermediate Bearcubs were busy building their STEM skills by learning how engineers design their ideas and prototypes. These innovative students drafted models, bringing ideas to life with wooden blocks! Kreinhop students in Ms. Johnson’s English Language Arts and Reading class created a game with their Thanksgiving knowledge. In contrast, Ms. Diehl’s class interpreted the ‘remainder,’ using fun manipulatives to enhance their math experience.

What a fun week of learning and festivities for our Kids in Klein! Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving break!
