PHOTO GALLERIES: 85 Student-Athletes Sign Letters of Intent on National Signing Day

In Klein ISD, National Signing Day is an occasion filled with cheer and celebration.
Today, 85 student-athletes signed a letter of intent for the college of their choice, many with high-dollar scholarships attached.
“Every year, National Signing Day is a momentous occasion for our incredible student-athletes, their families, and their fantastic coaches,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “Their love for their individual sports is obvious, but being part of Signing Day also proves that our athletes are students first, and their immense dedication to their academics stands hand-in-hand with their athletic achievements. I am so proud of these remarkable young people and wish them all the best as they go off on their next academic and athletic journey across our Nation.”
This day was a culmination of years of hard work being recognized, respected, and celebrated.
“It was an outstanding day celebrating our student-athletes, their support groups, and the accomplishments they have all achieved while in Klein ISD,” Klein ISD Athletic Director Darby Young said. “Thank you to our coaches for investing so much of their time and heart into our kids so that they’re prepared for their bright futures in sports and in the classroom.”
We are so proud of our athletes. Your Klein Family is always cheering each of you on!
