Haude Elementary Students, Teacher Honored at Board Meeting
KLEIN, Texas – The Klein ISD Board of Trustees recognized two outstanding Haude Elementary students and one remarkable staff member at the February Board meeting for their dedication to success in the classroom.
Special Education Academic Lead Teacher Ms. Kim George is a true servant-leader and is student-focused. This beloved teacher focuses on high-quality instruction all the time. She monitors her students’ progress, celebrates their growth, and provides targeted assistance to meet the student’s needs.
“Kim relentlessly pursues success for every student at Haude,” Haude Principal Rachel Wall said. “She has high expectations and cares for the whole learner. She is driven by a sense of urgency and a focus on results. We are so lucky to have her here at Haude.”
Haude student, Wren, is a grateful, kind, and honest student who constantly searches for ways to stand out from the crowd. This student-leader makes Haude a better place by being her positive self daily.
“Wren is not afraid to fail forward, knowing she will find success in the future,” teacher Ms. Taylor McGarry said. “She is involved in the art club, running club, scribble society, and choir. Wren is an adaptable and empathetic student to her teachers and her peers and continues to make everyone proud.”
Haude Jaguar, Payton, is very innovative and creative. He is a member of the Boy Scouts, coding club, Name that Book, chess club, art club, and running club. Payton is always ready to try new things and, in doing so, is constantly learning and growing.
“Payton is constantly thinking about different, unique ways to do his work that can stand out from others,” teacher Ms. Tiffany Mitchell said. “He is always ready to lend a helping hand to his classmates, peers, and even teachers who need it.”
