Epps Island Elementary Recognized as 2023 State School of Character
KLEIN, Texas – Epps Island Elementary has recently become one of only six elementary schools in Texas to be named a 2023 State School of Character by Character.org.
Schools are recognized for their execution of initiatives and processes that instill the importance of excellent character education in their students. Epps Island uses its core values as its guiding principles. The school’s core values (TIGERS: Teamwork, Innovative, Golden Rule, Engage, Resilient, Self-reflective) are embedded in their daily lessons. Being named a State School of Character is a prestigious honor that Epps Island Elementary is incredibly proud to receive.
