Aysha Ameerah, Klein High Valedictorian
Klein High valedictorian Aysha Ameerah is a talented public speaker who is passionate about health care.
The award-winning HOSA president has worked hard during her school career to achieve the top spot in her graduating class academically and in extracurricular activities. Aysha is a member of HOSA, Latin Club, Awareness Raisers, Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership, and the Klein High Islamic Thought Club.
“The extracurricular opportunities at Klein ISD impacted me the most in how they connected to embellish my future,” Aysha said. “From winning first place in the HOSA International Leadership Conference to gaining a Perfect Score and Summa Cum Laude in the National Latin Exam, I have learned to distinguish myself and achieve my full potential.”
While Aysha hasn’t decided where she will go to college, she is confident that her future will be in health care. She plans to major in either Public Health or Health Sciences on a pre-med track and enter medical school to continue her goal of becoming a health professional.
“Through Klein ISD, I was able to propel through and achieve the position of being the valedictorian of my class while breaking out of my shell, creating an identity that unfolded into an embodiment of high aspirations,” Aysha said. “I hope to seize every moment, chase my dreams, and make a difference in the world!”
While at Klein High, Aysha has made many connections and bonds with those around her. Most notably, she recognizes Klein High Science teacher, Mr. Merill Willgrubs, for his role in her life personally and academically.
“Mr.Willgrubs has been a very prominent figure in my life. Through his life lessons and his meaningful advice, I’ve gained insight into the reality of the future,” Aysha said. “From complex thinking to innovative brainstorming, Mr.Willgrubs has taught me numerous lessons that I hold valuable in moving toward success.”
We are so proud of this Bearkat and cannot wait to see what the future holds for her. Aysha, your Klein Family is so proud of your accomplishments and dedication to leadership!
