Fine Arts Signing Day Celebrating Students Finding their Purpose in the Arts

Fine Arts Signing Day Celebrating Students Finding their Purpose in the Arts

Klein ISD hosted its annual Fine Arts Signing Day in recognition of over 40 students who signed letters of intent to continue their Visual and Performing Arts careers in colleges from New York to right here in Texas. Scholarships obtained by students who signed amounted to a record-breaking $3,572,277!

The Klein Multipurpose Center ballroom was filled with tables decorated with college memorabilia and proud families. As the students’ names and colleges were announced, they came forward and signed a letter of intent to continue pursuing their passion of the arts in college.

“In Klein ISD, the arts are considered a cornerstone of our students’ educational experience ,” Klein ISD Director of Fine Arts Creston Herron said. “It was such a privilege to witness so many students commit to following their dreams by pursuing a career doing what they love best.”

Congratulations to these many wonderful and talented students who are so gifted in the arts! Your Klein Family is cheering you on as you move into the next chapter of your lives.
