Dillon Vo- 2023 Klein Forest Salutatorian

Klein Forest Salutatorian Dillon Vo is moving towards his exit from The Forest. This talented Golden Eagle excels in his academics and makes a difference in the lives of those he crosses paths with.

Dillon is dedicated to his studies and can boast of several awards and even a few scholarships. These include the Texas Excellence Scholarship, the TEXAS Grant, and the UT Award.

Mrs. Righter, Dillon’s AP Statistics teacher, has been an enormous source of inspiration for the Golden Eagle and someone Dillon is grateful for.

“Mrs. Righter is one of the best teachers I have ever had; her joy and smiles brightened my life and taught me that there was happiness that I could attain, too. During my time in her AP Statistics class, Mrs. Righter was always willing to converse with her students, sometimes about the most trivial topics,” Dillon said. “She built a relationship full of appreciation that allowed all her students to be open and engaged in the classroom. In this way, Mrs. Righter continues to create a lively and engaging classroom environment that allows all her students to immerse themselves in statistics. Through her class, I have learned to appreciate the widely applicable nature of statistics while also keeping in mind the many nuances of statistics that might reduce the reliability of the collected data.”

Dillon enjoys being part of the Ping Pong team, Orchestra, and Tennis team at Klein Forest when not in class.

Dillon’s volunteer efforts include time with the PIMA Medical Institute and volunteer roles as a member of the National Honor Society.

After graduation, Dillon plans on majoring in Psychology and attending the University of Texas at Austin.

Congratulations, Dillon, on all your success so far! Your #KleinFamily knows you will shine wherever you go next.
