Smruti Sannabhadti – Klein Oak Salutatorian
Smruti Sannabhadti is Klein Oak’s 2023 Salutatorian with an eye for adventure and a passion for Spanish.
She started in Klein ISD in Kindergarten and has been dedicated to success and leadership since. Smruti holds many leadership positions in organizations at her school, such as the president of the Spanish Honor Society, Zeta Omicron Computer Science Honor Society, and the Red Cross Club.
“From my first days of being a curious little Kindergartener to my final few days of senior year, Klein ISD has been the driving factor in my excitement to learn,” Smruti said. “The Klein community is filled with compassionate, dedicated, and welcoming educators who inspire me to be the best version of myself every day.”
Smruti’s outstanding academic record has earned her recognition as a National Merit Commended Scholar, Advanced Placement Capstone Diploma Candidate, International Baccalaureate Computer Science Certificate Candidate, and a spot at the University of Texas at Austin. She will double major in Computer Science Honors and Business Honors in the Texas CSB program.
“By providing me with endless opportunities to explore my passions, I am so grateful to Klein for never allowing my Kindergarten curiosity to wither away,” Smruti said.
