
Medha Fotedar, 2023 Klein Collins Valedictorian

Medha Fotedar is ready to leave the Tiger Den! Our 2023 Klein Collins Valedictorian is making a glorious exit from her school after leaving her mark.
This senior excels in both extracurriculars and academics. Medha’s number of awards and accolades are a testament to her hard work and include:
- VASE Gold Seal winner
- National Junior Classical League – 2nd Place Certamen/Art
- Scholastic Art and Writing American Visions nominee award recipient
- NASA Gateway Texas High – School Aerospace Scholars
- Quickdraw portrait class champion
- AP scholar with distinction
- National Latin Exam Summa Cum Laude
- Latin JCL regional certamen 1st place
- Latin TSJCL state certamen 2nd place
- TSJCL state mythology testing 1st place
- Scholastic Art and Writing gold keys (x4).
Within her extracurriculars, Medha enjoys serving as the Physics club Founder and President, the Spanish National Honor Society President, Klein Collins Computer Science for Social Good Head of Communications, the Art club Historian/Treasurer, the HemAth-Charge of Grant Applications, and Math UIL Vice-Captain of Social Relations.
“My time at Klein was one of my life’s most turbulent yet exciting times. With COVID and losing loved ones, I always found support in the faculty who believed in me.” Medha said. “I will fondly remember every small thing that occurred in these formative years for the rest of my life.”

Medha enjoys volunteering with HemAth-Kashmiri refugee women empowerment, Montgomery County Animal Shelter, Kashmiri Overseas Association-refugee fundraising, and the Spanish National Honor Society in her free time.
Medha plans to attend Rice University to major in physics and become a professional girl boss.
