Calvin Chiu – Klein Cain Valedictorian

Calvin Chiu – Klein Cain Valedictorian

Klein Cain Valedictorian Calvin Chiu is a leader with a very active academic schedule.

Calvin is an outstanding student who has a natural talent for science. After graduation, he plans to pursue an undergraduate degree in physics.

He is the president of the Klein Cain Science organization and the Science National Honor Society Vice President. His hard work in the Science field also pays off in activities outside of school. For example, he has been a University Interscholastic League (UIL) State Qualifier for Science, a 2023 Texas Science Bowl competition finalist, and Climate Science Olympiad Finalist.

During his high school career, Calvin notes that one teacher, Mr. Robert Huff, has always supported him and his love for science.

“When I first competed in the Science Bowl during my freshman year, he consistently motivated me to improve both as a student and a person. As a teacher, he pushed me to learn more than ever before, and his dedication to his lectures was truly inspiring,” Calvin said. “Throughout my high school years, Mr. Huff was both a teacher and a friend to me, and he’s helped me more than I could have asked for.”

For Calvin, Math and Science go hand in hand. Calvin is the President and Founder of the Math Club, the President of Mu Alpha Theta, and has been recognized for his math abilities.

Outside of academics, Calvin continues to excel. He is a Math and Science tutor and a Chess Club member.

Calvin, you are a truly impressive Valedictorian. Your Klein Family is so proud of you and wishes you all the best as you pursue your future endeavors!
