End-of-the-Year Message from Our Superintendent: A Year of Achievements and Looking Ahead

Dear Klein Parents & Community,

As we wrap up another successful school year in Klein ISD, I extend my deepest gratitude to every person that makes up our phenomenal Klein Family. This includes our awesome students, engaged parents, hardworking staff members, and dedicated community members who all continue to do their part to invest in our kids in Klein.

Klein, Texas is a special place to work, live, and learn, and it’s always been the people here that truly make this community and school district such a wonderful place to call home. As a Klein ISD educator, parent, and community member, I thank you for the ways you continue to unite around our collective purpose of helping all of our 54,000+ students find their purpose in life.

Parent & Family Engagement

We honor parents as our students’ very first and forever teachers and are grateful for their critical role in our ability to continue our tradition of excellence in Klein ISD. We recently had the honor of celebrating with a special group of graduates at this year’s Parent University Graduation Ceremony. Congratulations to the 271 graduates who collectively completed nearly 200 learning sessions to strengthen school-home partnerships to support their children’s education!

We love seeing our families involved at our campuses by volunteering and partnering with our educators to expand the support we provide each day to our students. A huge thank you to the thousands of volunteers who have given so selflessly to our students and schools this year–you are true difference-makers, and we appreciate you!

Safety and Security

The safety and security of our students and staff members remains a top priority in Klein ISD. Because of community support for the 2022 Bond, we have been able to enhance safety measures at our campuses, including security vestibules and monitored access entries at every school. Thank you to our wise and dedicated Board of Trustees for not only expediting all safety projects but also approving the hiring of additional Klein ISD police officers in our district.

Triple-A Success

Our Klein kids excel in so many amazing ways—making our entire community immensely proud of their efforts and accomplishments. Here’s a recap of just a few of the ways our Klein Family continued our tradition of excellence and Triple-A success in Academics, Arts, and Athletics this school year.

As we wrap up the 2022-2023 school year, I want to thank you for entrusting us to care for and educate your children. We are grateful for our supportive parents helping our students reach their greatest potential through committed school and home partnerships. And, if you haven’t already done so, I encourage you to send a word of gratitude to the teachers and staff in our Klein Family who positively impacted your children’s lives this school year. We are blessed with some truly extraordinary educators and employees in Klein ISD, and I know they always appreciate hearing positive feedback from you.

I hope you and your family have a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer break, and I look forward to the great things ahead for our kids and Klein Family in the 2023-2024 school year!
